Executives from Microsoft and MGM Mirage to Discuss Technologies and Innovation During Gartner Emerging Trends Symposium/ITxpo, April 6-10, in Las Vegas

STAMFORD, Conn., March 13, 2008 — Gartner, Inc. analysts will sit down with top innovators who are driving change with next-horizon technologies during the Innovator Interview Keynotes at Gartner Emerging Trends Symposium/ITxpo, being held April 6-10 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

On Wednesday, April 9, Gartner analysts will ask these innovators how they drive innovation, why they choose the initiatives they do, and how they measure their successes and failures. Keynote speakers include:

Innovator Interview with Craig Mundie, chief of research and strategy officer, Microsoft, Corp. Mr. Mundie is responsible for Microsoft’s research and incubation strategy, and along with Ray Ozzie, chief software architect, for guiding the company’s overall technical direction. Mr. Mundie will discuss key issues for Microsoft and what new technologies will drive business growth.

Innovator Interview with Tom Peck, chief information officer, MGM Mirage, and Aldo Manzini, executive vice president and chief administrative officer, MGM Mirage. MGM Mirage has more than 70,000 employees across 17 global megaresorts. Mr. Peck and Mr. Manzini will explain how MGM Mirage applies technology and new management thinking to enhance customer experience at its resorts and casinos, as well as operate behind-the-scenes in the most efficient and effective way.
